Finally, acceptable NY style pizza in Florida. Tried the two-slice lunch special and was pleasantly surprised. Jumbo slices with a drink at a reasonable price. Pizza was among the best I've had in the South. So glad.

I highly recommend this place! We've been living here just a year and tried different places around here and nothing compares! The food is excellent! The service is excellent as well as the atmosphere! A worker there named Josh is friendly and makes sure we are happy with our experience there!

Pioneers Pizza has two or three spots in the Charlotte, Punta Gorda area and is family oriented. Serving a variety of pizza combinations along with many other Italian dishes in a New York style , it has become a popular place for pizza. My review is on takeout a few times that we have ordered only,and my family and I were pleased with the everything we ordered.. try it out it is well ahead of the normal chains.

I tried this place probably a year ago & finally got my husband to go. It's very nice inside. Our server was Brook & she was very nice & attentive. We started with breadsticks of course which were fresh baked & delicious. We split a Greek salad, very fresh ingredients & tasty. We each had a 12" personal pizza, his had one with pepperoni & jalapeños (it was supposed to be to have mushrooms but it was so good he didn't mind. I had a Hawaiian personal pizza. The crust was very good, not soggy or too thick just the right texture. We will definitely be back

Year after year this place doesn't disappoint. The Anti Pasta is enough for three. My husband enjoyed it. The pizza here is also spot on with perfection. The service is great and they have a full bar to enjoy.

What a great surprise Pioneers Pizza was. I have driven pie this place no less than 100 times and did not even know what it was there. We were not in the moon for pizza, but we had pasta and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect. Nice wine selection and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this location. A nice little bar very clean very comfortable, not loud very pleasant.

Came in with my sister for lunch, Daniel was amazing as usual. Great service! The food was awesome and the restaurant and bathrooms were very clean! Best pizza in town!

We have ordered twice for lunch. The delivery has been on time both times. We had the bruschetta pizza the first time and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered the pepperoni pizza the second time. It was okay. Was either extremely hot still when put in box or they just tossed it in there. Wasn't cut all the way through and cheese was all over the place.
